Key Responsibilities
- Provide biblical teaching and spiritual guidance to children under 12 years old.
- Lead and oversee children’s ministry programs, with a primary focus on Awana.
- Partner with parents to support their children’s spiritual development.
- Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers for children’s ministry.
- Plan and coordinate weekly children’s programs and special events.
- Ensure compliance with child safety policies and South Australian regulations.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- A strong, growing Christian faith with a passion for children’s ministry.
- Experience in children’s and youth ministry (volunteer or paid position).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural church environment.
- Proficiency in English (as the ministry is conducted in English).
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) and police clearance.
- A bachelor’s degree in Christian Theology (or equivalent) is desirable.
